Damascus Avoids Blood of Uprising, but Not Pain

Damascus is becoming more unstable — some are leaving the country because of the lack of food and safety and those who are staying won’t venture out after dark. The army is in the streets, standing guard, as the revolt moves from Egypt and Tunisia, into Syria.
