U.N. Security Council To Meet on Syria as Deaths Mount

Hours before the United Nations was scheduled to meet to draft a resolution in support of the protestors, over 200 people are killed in what was reported to be a massacre. According to unconfirmed reports, the army used bombs and snipers. The UN will have a difficult time coming up with a resolution that Russia will not veto because Russia does not want the current government overthrown in a civil war.
