Burmese Dissident Resumes Campaign

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi leads Myanmar’s democracy movement into an election to fill vacancies in the Parliament. Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi political party has not been allowed to participate in elections in two decades and the Nobel Peace Prize winner had been on house arrest as a political prisoner for most of that time.
